Keeping up with the knowledge boom

With the invention of internet, the flow of information has become endless and superfast. There is a lot to know about almost everything. All you wanted to know is out there on the click of a mouse.New inventions are being made every day to make life simpler but have you ever wondered how hard it will become for our future generations to keep up with the knowledge pool. There is so much to learn and in order to keep up with the pace of life one is supposed to know everything.
Human mind is showing wonderful performance in grasping things and it continues to amaze the researchers as they find new facts about its capabilities. The human brain is made up of a complex network of neurons or the brain cells. They process and transfer information at a lightning speed. Well equipped with a lot of qualities our brain has helped us in keeping up with the daily chores and new advances of technical world. But it will be interesting to see how much it is going to help when the knowledge pool keeps on expanding at the present rate.
Inventions made in the last century have changed the way of life completely .Among others the discovery of television, telephone and computers is remarkable. The rate of flow of information has increased many folds because of them. People who lived a century earlier had not to worry about text messages or an e-mail. You are supposed to learn about more things than ever before. For instance, consider the number of digits you have to keep in mind ranging from your mobile number to your SSN number, from your credit card pin to your twitter password. It is getting tougher for the education system to include all streams of knowledge into curriculum in order to produce well equipped students. To survive in the fast pace of life they are supposed to learn as much as they can.The good news is that our brain is performing well and holds promise of good performance in the future when the flow of information becomes limitless and fast.
